What is the Jaz Jubilee Nile Cruise like? Think of it as a floating hotel on the Nile, where you spend your mornings exploring ancient temples and your afternoons relaxing on deck as the river carries you between Luxor and Aswan.

Start your 5-day journey in Luxor on a Thursday, or begin the 4-day trip in Aswan on a Monday. In Luxor, walk among the giant columns of Karnak Temple, visit Luxor Temple and explore the West Bank with your Egyptologist guide. Sailing via Esna, you'll stop at Edfu to see the Temple of Horus and at Kom Ombo for the Temple of Sobek, the crocodile god. In Aswan, visit the Unfinished Obelisk and Philae Temple. On the 5-day itinerary, your final morning includes a felucca ride to the Botanical Garden.

Back on board, all 80 cabins have panoramic opening windows, so the Nile view is always part of your stay. Cabins include air conditioning with individual control, a bathtub, a minibar and room service. The pool and sun deck are ideal for slow afternoons, and meals are served on a full-board basis.

Meet your Memphis Tours representative in Aswan and transfer to the Jaz Jubilee Nile cruise. Cabins are available from around 12:00 PM; if you arrive earlier, your representative will coordinate the program and luggage arrangements until embarkation. After lunch on board, visit the Unfinished Obelisk in Aswan's ancient granite quarries, then continue by motorboat to Philae Temple on Agilkia Island. Return to the cruise for dinner and overnight in Aswan.

Sail early toward Kom Ombo and step ashore to visit the temple dedicated to Sobek and Haroeris. Kom Ombo stands directly beside the Nile, so access is straightforward from the docking area. Continue sailing to Edfu for the Temple of Horus, one of Egypt's best-preserved ancient temples. Edfu Temple is inland from the river and is reached from the dock by traditional horse-drawn carriage. Return to Jaz Jubilee Nile Cruise and continue sailing toward Luxor.
