Cairo and Oasis Tour

Welcome to Cairo, Egypt! Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, your tour manager will greet you and assist with arrival procedures. You’ll then be transferred to your hotel in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. At the hotel, your tour manager will help you check in smoothly and go over your itinerary, confirming pick-up times for each tour.

After enjoying a delicious wholesome breakfast at your hotel, your personal guide will take you to the Giza Plateau to start your journey by marveling at one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Great Pyramids of Giza. Visit the iconic Sphinx and Valley Temple. After your pyramid visit, you’ll go for lunch at an authentic Egyptian restaurant and then head over to the New Grand Egyptian Museum, also known as the Giza Museum, which is an archaeological museum in Giza, Egypt, about 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) from the Giza pyramid complex. Return back to your hotel.

At 7:00 AM, your tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo for a 4-hour drive to Bahariya Oasis, located about 360 km east of Cairo. Upon arrival, lunch will be served in Bahariya Oasis. Next, visit the Golden Mummy Hall, where you'll see fascinating mummies, followed by a tour of two tombs from the 26th dynasty at the large burial site in Bahariya Oasis. You'll also explore the Tomb of Bannantiu, one of the most notable tombs in the area. End the day with a climb to the English House, offering stunning views of the surrounding desert.

After breakfast, continue your journey to the Black Desert, where you’ll explore its unique volcanic landscape, and visit the natural hot spring at El Haize (St. George Oasis). Next, drive to Crystal Mountain to see the stunning quartz crystals, followed by a visit to the Valley of Agabat to admire its striking rock formations. Continue on to the White Desert National Park, one of Egypt’s most famous desert destinations, known for its surreal, wind-carved rock formations that resemble giant mushrooms and pebbles—truly a sight unlike any other desert in the world. In the evening, you’ll have the option to camp under the stars in the White Desert or enjoy an overnight stay at a hotel in Farafra Oasis, depending on availability.

After breakfast, drive to Farafra Oasis to visit the unique mud brick museum created by local artist Badr. From Farafra, continue your journey to Dakhla, which takes around 3 hours. Upon arrival, visit the Roman Temple of Deir El Hagar, beautifully set in tranquil surroundings, and explore the Roman burial site of Mezzawaqqa. Next, head to the Islamic Village of Al Qasr, located about 35 km from Mut, where you’ll see the ruins of an Ayubid mosque, offering a fascinating glimpse into Egypt’s Islamic history.

After breakfast, head to Kharga Oasis to visit the Roman Temple of Hibis and the Temple of Nadura, viewing them from the outside. Then, visit the nearby Bagawat Cemetery, an early Christian burial site with chapels decorated with beautiful murals. Next, explore the National Museum of the New Valley, where you can learn about the region's rich history and cultural heritage.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kharga Oasis Airport for your flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, your tour manager will meet and assist you at Cairo International Airport before transferring you to your hotel for check-in.
