Most hotels in Egypt have a standard check-in time of around 12:00–1:00 PM. If you arrive earlier, most hotels will store luggage and, where possible, grant early check-in subject to availability.
Egypt has a wide range of accommodation from international 5-star hotels (Four Seasons, St. Regis, Sofitel Legend) to solid 4-star city hotels. Nile cruises offer cabin accommodation ranging from standard to luxury suites. Memphis Tours selects accommodation based on the package tier and your preferences.
Photography is allowed at most open-air sites and many museums, though some locations charge a camera fee. Photography is prohibited inside the Valley of the Kings tombs and inside the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities in Cairo. Always check with your Egyptologist guide before shooting at any site.
Most monuments and museums open from 9 AM to 5 PM. Open-air sites like the Giza Pyramids open from 8 AM until sunset. Some museums operate separate morning (9 AM–4 PM) and evening (5–9 PM) sessions. Hours change significantly during Ramadan.
