After breakfast, the day begins with a visit to the Spice Bazaar (Egyptian Bazaar) in the historic Eminönü district—an ideal place to buy spices, dried fruits, teas, and Turkish delights—followed by a cruise along the Bosphorus Strait aboard a regular boat, sailing between the Asian and European shores while admiring landmarks such as the Dolmabahçe and Çırağan Palaces and the Rumeli Fortress; we then continue to the historic neighborhoods of Fener and Balat, perfect for wandering romantic cobblestone streets where you’ll find charming themed cafés and can photograph the famous colorful houses, an area well-known as a filming location for many Turkish TV series, offering treasures full of history and glimpses into everyday Turkish life, and which includes an exterior visit to the magnificent Bulgarian Orthodox Church of St. Stephen, notable for its cast-iron construction, and the Church of the Orthodox Patriarchate in Balat; the day concludes at the famous Pierre Loti Café, a legendary spot once favored by the French writer Pierre Loti, offering stunning panoramic views of the Golden Horn before transferring back to your hotel.

After breakfast at your hotel, embark on a full-day city tour, starting with a morning exterior visit to the iconic Hagia Sophia followed by exploration of the vast Topkapi Palace complex (closed Tuesdays), the residence of the sultans from 1478 to 1856—a monumental complex composed of pavilions, gardens, and scattered courtyards located in the historic district near the entrance of the Golden Horn—and a visit to the famous Blue Mosque, with its six minarets; after lunch, the afternoon includes the ancient Roman Hippodrome and free time at the Grand Bazaar (closed Sundays and religious holidays) before returning to the hotel for an overnight in Istanbul.

Early departure by bus to Ankara, the capital of the Turkish Republic, passing through the Bolu Mountains before arriving in Ankara and transferring to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, visit the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, awarded Best Museum in Europe in 1997 for its rich collection of finds from Asia Minor, especially Hittite artifacts; continue to the Mausoleum of Atatürk, the founder of the Republic, before proceeding to Cappadocia, a region in Anatolia famous for its unique geological formations, and pass by Salt Lake in the afternoon before arriving at your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion beginning with a visit to the Göreme Open-Air Museum to see rock-hewn churches with frescoed interiors, continuing to the troglodyte village of Uçhisar and Pigeon Valley, admiring Love Valley also known for its mushroom-shaped "fairy chimneys," and visiting the pottery town of Avanos; in the afternoon, we visit an underground city with multiple levels which was used by early Christians as a refuge from enemies during the 6th and 7th centuries, ending with a visit to a carpet workshop to observe Turkish carpet weaving and a workshop showcasing onyx and jewelry craftsmanship before returning to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast and a 650 km departure to Aksaray, follow the Silk Road and visit a Caravanserai, a resting place for camel caravans, before arriving in Pamukkale and transferring to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, visit Pamukkale, meaning “Cotton Castle” in Turkish, famous for its white cascades of natural travertine pools formed by thermal springs, and continue with a tour of the ancient city of Hierapolis, a Phrygian city that became an episcopal center during the Byzantine period; proceed to Kusadasi and, en route, visit the House of the Virgin Mary (Mother of Jesus), where she spent her last years, and during the journey, attend a fashion show featuring beautiful leather products; visit Ephesus, the best-preserved ancient city in Asia Minor, which had a population of 250,000 during the 1st and 2nd centuries, to see landmarks such as the Temple of Hadrian, the Roman Baths, the Library of Celsus, the Odeon, and the theater with a capacity of 24,500 spectators, before transferring to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, travel to Pergamon and visit the Asclepion, an ancient therapeutic center dedicated to Asclepius, the god of medicine, where the famous physician Galen once practiced; continue to Troy to visit the legendary city made famous by Homer’s The Iliad and the Trojan War, before transferring to your hotel in Çanakkale for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast at the hotel, cross the Dardanelles by ferry and head to the historic Gallipoli Peninsula—one of Turkey’s most moving sites and a key World War I setting—to visit the battlefields and pay tribute to fallen soldiers from both sides; continue to the ANZAC Cove memorial site where annual commemorations are held, and also see the Mehmetçik Monument (symbolizing mutual respect), the Lone Pine Memorial, and Johnston’s Jolly with its preserved trenches; conclude with visits to the 57th Regiment Memorial, The Nek, and the Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial on one of the campaign’s most strategic hills, before departing for Istanbul and arriving at your hotel in the evening for an overnight stay.
