Breakfast. Departure to visit the Taktsang Monastery or Paro Taktsang, a Buddhist site of worship spiked into the rock at more than 3000 meters high. After 1h walk, a break in the cafeteria to refresh and enjoy the beautiful view of the monastery.

After another step (about 45 minutes), you reach a viewing point located at 3140 meters above sea level. From here, the view over Taktsang is spectacular. The adventure continues (another 30 minutes approximately), making your way through narrow rails, overlooking the walk, going the last steps to the monastery. Inside the safe you can find some temples and shrines and/or the monks who are here.

The name of Taktsang means "Tiger's Nest", according to an ancient legend, the saint Padmasambhava flew on a fabulous tiger. The place of indescribable beauty and popular pilgrimage in the Himalayas. In the afternoon, take a walk to explore the shippings of the main street of Paro. Admire the typical Bhutanese architecture, passing the monks and witness the tranquility of the locals, true ambassadors of the national custom.
