The Soul of jordan

From spending 3 nights in Buenos Aires to the last night in Isla del Sol, you will experience the best of Argentina, Chile, and Bolivia. You will watch the sunset over the clay of Chile’s exceptional mountains. Enjoy seeing the enormous mountain range of the Andes, with its immense length, being the longest continental mountain range on earth, not only houses the highest volcanoes on the planet and its highest point, the Aconcagua, but also one of the most powerful empires of the new land, The Incas, which in addition to considering the universe and the cosmos as sacred, adored the mountains, lagoons, and the moon as a direct link with the nature. An experience of great transformation, where the heart of nature and the best sights on earth. Especially in Peru, you'll also visit other Inca ruins, including Ollantaytambo and the Temple of Sacsayhuaman, where you'll see an amazing example of Inca masonry.

We will tour the city that gave rise to tango with its main attractions and traditions. We will know in depth the Argentine culture, its gastronomy and its history. We will start touring the neighborhoods of the northern area such as Recoleta and Palermo where we will find the typical characteristics such as its wide avenues, its palaces and residences and its green spaces that are the most important ones in Buenos Aires. The tour will continue through the Center where we will travel the widest avenue in the world and we will pass by the Teatro Colón and the Obelisco, a distinctive icon of Buenos Aires and Argentina par excellence.

We will have our first stop in the Plaza de Mayo, the historic center of the city and where our independence was established by 1810. Here we will find The Government House (Casa Rosada), The Metropolitan Cathedral and the Cabildo. We will have time to tour, take photos and continue to the south.

We will visit the neighborhood of San Telmo, the smallest neighborhood of the city but the one with more tradition and customs of our own, to go then to the neighborhood of La Boca (according to its neighbors "La Boca Republic"). There we will have a new stop where we can walk the Caminito passage (open-air museum) and time for taking some photos in the area and in front of the Boca Juniors Stadium, La Bombonera. The last neighborhood we will visit will be the newest in the city, Puerto Madero.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport and domestic flight to the city of Salta. Transfer to the hotel.

Founded in 1582 by Spain, the city of Salta is an example of Baroque-American architecture, the only artistic movement born in America and not imitation of Europeans. In its streets, samples of the city's history coexist, from its first inhabitants, through the time of colonization to the modern city that it is today.

Full Day Tour Tren de las Nubes (train not included)
After breakfast, early in the morning, you will go on a full-day excursion on a regular basis that runs the same path of the famous “Train to the Clouds” through the “Quebrada del Toro” towards San Antonio de los Cobres. Then, through the Puna, continue on Route 40 towards “Salinas Grandes” in Jujuy. Finally, you will go down the Cipa de Lipan towards the picturesque Purmamarca, at the foot of the Seven Colors hill. Accommodation in Purmamarca.
We will begin crossing national route 51, with photographic stops at panoramic points of sites “stopped in time” and then embark on the magical experience of the TRAIN TO THE CLOUDS. The train of the Clouds crosses the high mountains of the Andes, passing through the most spectacular landscapes. It is made up of the city of Salta, at 1,187 meters above sea level and reaches the viaduct of La Polvorrilla, where it rises to 4,200 meters high! In addition to being one of the highest trains in the world, it is undoubtedly one of the most incredible. As the name implies, the cloud train reaches such a height that clouds can often be seen below, including bridges or mountain slopes.

Transfer from your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama to the border post of Hito Cajón. Visit the Eduardo Avaroa Andean Fauna National Reserve (REA), with an area of 7,147 km2, located in the SW of Potosí in the Sud Lípez province. The fauna is characterized by the presence of unique species that adapted to the extreme conditions of life in the region, some of them in danger of extinction. Its lakes, salt flats, volcanoes, snowy peaks, plains, hot springs, some rivers rich in algae and plankton, geothermal fountains, flora and its topography in general give the region a unique charm and beauty. Transfer to Laguna Verde. Its water mirror resembles, by its color, a gigantic emerald, from where you can observe the imposing beauty of the Licancabur volcano, at an altitude of 5,865 mtrs. The unique glow of the green lagoon in the afternoon is dazzling. The intense greenish coloration of its waters is due to the high magnesium content. Visit the geysers "Morning Sun". Geysers, fumaroles and volcanic wells form a spectacular set. It is an hour's journey south of the Laguna Colorada. It has an extension of 1 km2 and is located on the road to the Salar de Chalviri. It is characterized by intense volcanic and smoking activity. In the craters you can see boiling lava intensely. The fumaroles emit mixed vapors of water and hot steam that reach heights of 80 to 100 meters. This phenomenon provides a landscape that goes back to the times of Earth formation. Lava and mud are constantly boiling. This geothermal field is located at an altitude of 4,900 mtrs. Continue to the Laguna Colorada. With an area of 60 km2 and at an altitude of 4,278 mtrs, the Laguna Colorada is characterized by the reddish coloration of its waters. It is populated by flocks of Tokyo flamingos, with reddish plumage; chururu, plumage aimed at the target; and jututu, pink plumage. The panorama is exceptionally beautiful at those altitudes, highlighting the impressive red color of the lagoon. It is also the most important site in the region for the observation of flamingos and of singular interest for the coloring of its waters. It is the main site where the three species of flamingos are found. You can also see vicunas, llamas and vizcachas. Box lunch en route.

“Great Guide”

I had a good experience on the 'Taste of Jordan in Petra Tour' with Memphis Tours. Petra was definitely the highlight of the trip, and the food throughout the tour was delicious. However, there was an issue that our driver was a little late on our trip towards north to Jerash, but Our guide did his best to resolve the issue. Despite this, I still enjoyed the tour and would recommend it to others.
