The Soul of Brazil
9 Days / 8 Nights
Discover four completely different sides of Brazil on this 9-day private journey through the country's most captivating cities. Begin in Rio de Janeiro, riding the train up through Tijuca Forest to Christ the Redeemer and the cable cars to Sugarloaf's summit for a 360-degree view of the marvellous city, before stepping into the imperial past at Petrópolis, where Emperor Pedro II's summer palace, the Gothic Cathedral, and the French-built Crystal Palace still tell Brazil's royal story. Then head to Belo Horizonte and the extraordinary Inhotim Institute—part open-air contemporary art museum, part botanical garden gathering rare species from every continent. Finally, arrive in Salvador de Bahia, where the country began: explore the Farol da Barra, the UNESCO-listed streets of Pelourinho, and the sweeping views from the Lacerda Elevator over the Bay of All Saints, with a free day to soak up the city's Afro-Brazilian soul. With private guides and transfers throughout, handpicked hotels, daily breakfast, and round-the-clock local assistance, this is Brazil in all its colour, history, and heart.
