Welcome to Egypt. Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, your Memphis Tours tour manager will meet you in the Immigration and Customs area, holding a sign displaying your name and the Memphis Tours logo.

After assistance with arrival formalities, transfer to your hotel by private air-conditioned vehicle. Your tour manager will assist with check-in and review your itinerary and confirmed sightseeing arrangements with you.

After breakfast, meet your private guide and travel to the legendary Giza Plateau. Stand before the Great Pyramids of Giza, see the iconic Sphinx and visit the Valley Temple.

Enjoy lunch at a local Egyptian restaurant before continuing to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) for an extraordinary introduction to ancient Egyptian civilization and its archaeological treasures. Return to your hotel after the visit.

After breakfast, transfer to Cairo Airport for your included domestic flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, meet your guide and visit the beautiful Temple of Philae, dramatically located on an island in the Nile, followed by the Unfinished Obelisk, which offers a fascinating look at ancient Egyptian stone-working techniques.

Continue to your Aswan hotel for check-in and the remainder of the day at leisure.

Good to Know: Included Cairo–Aswan flight times are confirmed according to airline availability and may require an early-morning departure or early start. Domestic flights include 1 checked bag up to 23 kg (50 lb) and 1 cabin bag up to 7 kg (15 lb) per guest, subject to airline conditions.

An early start brings you one of the signature experiences of the journey: Abu Simbel. Travel south from Aswan by air-conditioned vehicle to the monumental rock-cut temples of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari. Spend approximately two hours exploring this remarkable UNESCO World Heritage site before returning to Aswan.

On arrival back in Aswan, transfer to your confirmed Nile cruise for embarkation, lunch and the beginning of your three-night journey toward Luxor.

Visit: Abu Simbel Temples
Good to Know: Abu Simbel requires a very early departure, usually between approximately 4:00-5:00 AM. The journey by road takes approximately 3½ hours each way, with around two hours at the temples.
Expected return to Aswan is in the early afternoon, approximately 1:00–2:00 PM, before transfer to the cruise.

Enjoy a relaxed morning on board in Aswan, or choose an optional visit to a Nubian Village by motorboat, crossing the Nile to experience the colorful homes, local traditions and distinctive character of Nubian life.

In the afternoon, begin sailing toward Kom Ombo. On arrival, visit the unique riverside Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the Elder, before returning to the cruise and continuing your Nile journey.

After breakfast, visit the impressive Temple of Horus at Edfu, one of the best-preserved temples of ancient Egypt and an outstanding example of Ptolemaic architecture.

Return to the cruise and continue sailing toward Luxor. Upon arrival, explore the celebrated East Bank, beginning with the vast Karnak Temple Complex before continuing to Luxor Temple, beautifully positioned near the Nile. Return to the ship for your final evening on board.

After breakfast, disembark your Nile cruise and cross to Luxor’s legendary West Bank.

Explore the Valley of the Kings, burial place of New Kingdom pharaohs, before continuing to the impressive terraced Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the monumental Colossi of Memnon.

Later, transfer to Luxor Airport for your included flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred privately to your hotel.

Upon arrival at Queen Alia International Airport, a Memphis Tours representative will meet and assist you before your private transfer to your hotel.

After breakfast, travel north to Jerash, one of the region’s most impressive Roman archaeological sites.

Explore its colonnaded streets, plazas, temples and theaters with your local guide before continuing to the Dead Sea. Enjoy time to relax and experience the extraordinary buoyancy of its mineral-rich waters before returning to Amman.

Today combines two of Jordan’s most memorable experiences in one rewarding sightseeing day.

Depart Amman for Petra, the legendary Rose-Red City. Walk through the dramatic Siq until the magnificent Treasury comes into view, then continue exploring key areas of this extraordinary Nabataean city with your local guide.

After Petra, continue approximately 1½ hours south to Wadi Rum, where the landscape changes dramatically to Sandstone Mountains, desert valleys and sweeping red-sand scenery. Enjoy an approximately 1½-hour 4×4 Jeep experience through the protected desert before returning to Amman.

Good to Know: This is one of the journey’s longest and most active days, combining Petra and Wadi Rum with substantial driving and focused sightseeing at both destinations.
