Most nationalities receive a free visitor permit on arrival for tourism stays of up to four months. You'll need a passport valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates and proof of onward travel.
May through October is the dry season, with lower humidity, less rain and the calmest seas. November through April is warmer and greener but brings more rainfall and the South Pacific cyclone season.
The resort you choose drives the total more than anything else. Our private Fiji packages start around $3,385 per person for nine days, including luxury accommodations, transfers and daily breakfast.
Seven to ten days is the sweet spot. That allows two nights on the main island plus five or more on an outer island, without spending your vacation on boats and transfers.
The Mamanucas are closest to Nadi and easiest to reach, making them ideal for shorter trips. The Yasawas are more remote and dramatic, while the Coral Coast on the main island suits families who want beaches without a boat transfer.
